Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself to you. I'm Amy Heimermann, interior stylist
with Retropolitan. Minneapolis, Minnesota is home for me.
I'm originally from Atlanta, GA, but have been in Nashville, TN since college.
2013 was relocation year for my family and I as we pulled up
long-time roots in Nashville, and moved 900 miles north and west.
Needless to say, this southern girl is on an adventure!
Now for a quick resume'...
I've spent lots of years in the decorating field, doing everything from
photo styling, to retail merchandising, to home staging, to interior design,
to event decor, to art curation, and finally to journalism and creative writing
on the beloved subject of interiors we all love so much.
Whew! I can't believe I've done all that.
During those years, and wearing all those different hats, I'm thankful
to have had the opportunity to work with engaging customers, wonderful clients
and wildly talented colleagues. I've been inspired out of my mind,
experienced many lovely successes, felt the pain of some disappointing failures
and in the process have learned a thing or two...or three.
My focus has always been on my clients and the style that is uniquely theirs.
I believe there is a beautiful personality
and individual expression in each and every one of us.
I always strive to find that expression in working with clients,
and for us - as we work together - to bring that style out in their interiors.
Another focus for me has always been budget. Let's be honest...
who of us isn't on a budget? Am I right? Can I get an "amen?"
We're all trying to find the best deal out there and the best way to achieve
our goals without breaking the bank.
On the subject of decor, I'm here to help!
I'd love to share with you...tips, trends, ideas, inspirations and maybe even
a little genius from time to time...all with you and your personal style in mind.
So, let's roll up our sleeves and get into some style together.
Let me help you create interiors that are all YOU, and pretty on a penny, too!
- Amy
